The MACO Ancile story
From Industrial Enterprise to Digital Capability
The story begins in 1968, when MACO Corporation was founded in West Bengal as an industrial products trading company. The group grew into the steel industry, then beyond India, with a footprint in the United States from 1988 and joint ventures with partners from Canada, Italy and Germany.
In the 2010s, technology became a new growth engine. The group built Ancile Services, an IT services business across the United States and India.
Ancile Digital grew out of that business. It carries the group’s long view of building and expanding enterprises into AI, digital engineering, technology talent and Global Capability Centers.
